London in Bloom

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

When I was in London at this time in 2016 (for the Chelsea Flower Show!), “Around Chelsea” was just being introduced. While each year more and more of London salutes this 130 year old show, the Sloane Square area (abutting the Royal Hospital showgrounds) really pulls out all the steps!

From luxury goods merchants to wine shops to hoteliers (including my favorite, The Capital, below) fresh creations light up the neighborhood.

Enjoy my London samplings…

Saluting Queen Elizabeth on her Platinum Jubilee, a remarkable, indomitable woman who truly epitomizes the British ethos, “Stay calm and carry on.”

  4. BritBox tv has featured Chelsea Flower show all week. This year does not disappoint. I went to the Hampton Court held in early July preCovid days. It, too, was wonderful. Enjoyed a Pimms Cup, too.
