At this time of the year when giving thanks is so on our minds, I wanted to take this opportunity to offer some additional “words to live by” that I’ve treasured for a long time (so long, that I can’t remember where I found them; perhaps the author might read this and step up so I might acknowledge her authorship and give her my thanks).

  2. WOW Bettie! A bug gave me the wonderful gift of time to click from one to another of your amazing posts. I am so impressed! Such grace and beauty, wisdom and practical advise. I loved everything I read and saw. Your Newport pictures filled me with awe and fond memories. Fifteen years ago, Byron and I spent two wonderful days exploring Newport after our niece’s Boston/Rock Harbor wedding celebrations. The Mansions and Cliff Walk reminded me so much of Mom, a sought after interior designer. Mom loved elegance and beauty. She would have loved living in Newport during the Gilded Age. I’ll look forward to more posts!
