22 Top Images of 2022

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Always an annual tradition…an overview of the top 22 images for the past year (2022) that were your favorites on my Instagram posts (and many then ended up on a blog post). From Lake Forest to London, from New York to the Cotswolds, from Atlanta to Brussels, from Paris to Pocantico Hills, I’ve become fascinated more and more with not just gardens but landscape architecture and all their exquisite details that so handsomely enhance the built architecture.

Blessedly, the world of Instagram helps make up for all those trips we had to cancel and travel we’ve lived without. I for one take great solace in the 25,000+ images that are on my cell phone and those that my social media friends share…for they enliven our imagination, inspire our daydreams, and provide ideas galore. Oh, how I wish I could turn back the clock twenty-five years to our house-building and garden designing days at Parterre. Such fun!!

From Newport to you with very special wishes for a glorious 2023.

Our book club wants to do a trip to Newport. Do you recommend anyone to coordinate this tour for us? We have someone for our European trips but not for stateside. Hoping to get direction on where to stay, dine and a guide while there to the best sights.

    Thanks, Nancy
